Zana Çela General Director of the National Tourism Agency Ms. Zana Çela has 30 years of experience in the management of arts, media, and cultural tourism. That experience relates to her role as the head of public cultural, media, and tourism institutions. Ms. Çela's main achievements include transforming culture and media institutions into effective and productive entities through institutional reforms, fostering partnerships with private and public entities, and establishing international collaborations. She has represented the country in critical international activities, evaluation panels, and other similar events. Her management positions included responsibilities as director of the Theatre of Opera and Ballet, director of national television, team leader of IPA projects of the European Union on cultural heritage, and civil society activist. She is the author of dozens of national and international productions of the highest standards, which contributed to promoting new talents and elevating arts and culture in Albania to much higher levels. Those productions, prepared in cooperation with leading arts and media institutions like RTSH, Klan, Top Channel, and the Theatre of Opera and Ballet, were brought to broader audiences in Albania, Italy, Germany, Greece, Montenegro, Macedonia, Kosovo, and other countries in concert halls as well as in the open air. Her professional and managerial experience, along with many years of exposure to managing culture and arts, quickly established her as a key figure in cultural tourism management in her role as general director of the National Tourism Agency.
