President and full-time lecturer at the European University of Tirana, Albania. Dr. Xhepa worked with academia for more than two decade as full-time staff lecturing courses on different topics of Public Finance, Monetary Policy and Central Banking, Economics of EU integration, etc. He used to work as senior economist for the Bank of Albania (1998-2002) in the research department and later as research manager at the Albanian Center for International trade (2002-2005). Dr. Xhepa worked also in several positions in government office: as CEO of Foreign Investment promotion agency (1993-1998), Advisor to Prime Minister on Economic Affairs (2005-2009). He also served as Member of Parliament (2009-2013) for one term, member of Standing Committee of Economy and Finance. Dr. Xhepa authored and coauthored books, book-chapters, articles and he is a frequent contributor to the media on economic reforms and policies.
